After work, I promised what I was going to do.
Using my Runtastic app, I was able to clock in these results:
Ran/Jog/Walk: 2.35 miles
Time: 41 minutes and 37 seconds
Timing for each mile it took: 17 minutes and 43 seconds
Calories Burned: 435
I was pretty much hauling ass most of the time and went around the heart of campus pretty much.
Some of my graduate students saw me, and a few of the post-docs from other labs saw me as well returning to my car. I already told a few graduate students that I was going to start back running.
Today, I am resting. I don’t see any point in putting my body in overdrive. I believe tomorrow I will run. One thing that ATH is great for…it is great for running/jogging/walking a lot of places.
It was my turn to cook as well. It seems like Rupert was in another one of his moods again. I don’t understand why, but I am quite upset with him. I mean I didn’t complain about cooking at all, and I thought he would say that he was proud of me for running. I guess not until I asked.
Anyway, I was getting a headache from the run as well because I hadn’t did it for so long. I took three Bayer aspirin, and that is why he started to get really agitated.
If something is bothering you, you should really try to let me know ahead of time that it is bothering you. We’ve been together for nine years, and I thought we were going to work on this communication. Oh well. A relationship cannot function well if you aren’t communicating with the person and telling them what is the matter. He should know better.
But you know, we are adults. I can only change myself. I cannot change the person I am with. It is up to him to do that.
Anyway, it is makes a little sad, but I am going to keep on trucking. I want to change every aspect of my life and improve on myself.
Cheers to a good day at work,
S
