So remember how the Orange Shitgibbon said he’d lower our grocery prices? And those of you who voted for him believed it?
You fools. You absolute goddamn idiots.
Needless to say, I never believed it. But I am still pissed that my grocery run yesterday cost $98. And what did I buy? Funny you should ask, because I screenshotted it.
(Before anyone says it: I don’t give a fuck about your ~thoughts~ on what I bought. I’m 36 years old, I’m employed full-time, and I pay more in taxes than most people in Congress. I deserve cheese curls! …The apple is for making kimchi.)
So here’s my idea: If you’re as sick of paying as much for groceries as I am, but also smart enough to not have voted for Trumpty Dumpty, I say we bombard his and Fake Hillbilly Fuckboy’s emails with screenshots of our grocery bills, with the subject “Why Are Groceries Still Expensive”?
I mean, it’s not going to do anything, but maybe if enough people do it, we can start a movement.
Just an idea.

I hold this close and it always pisses me off... I am a relatively intelligent person. I was the President of the Legal Honor Society in Law School. I got a D+ in my college Business Economics class. ANY TIME someone who is proud to have barely finished High School tells me that they voted "because of the economy" I want to slap them. very hard. repeatedly. Because THEY HONESTLY DON'T KNOW OR UNDERSTAND how the economy actually WORKS. And they willfully chose to ignore the MANY actual economic experts that said, "Trump's proposed plans will super charge inflation and raise the prices on everything." It's... very frustrating to actively be a land where the least informed and least intelligent can overwhelm a ballot box to negate and reverse the votes of people who know better.
