Day 22 - Coffees (Plural) in These Foolish Things

Good morning, friends!

Another arctic morning. I’ve done all of my morning routine, taken the dog out to potty, and now working (mostly). It’s going to warm up this afternoon and I’m looking forward to temps above freezing!

Tomorrow I have an 8am Zoom call, so I’m going to have to be a little more rigorous in the morning and be totally prepared as opposed to still being in my robe like I was at 8 this morning! I mean, it’s really easy to slack when you don’t have any Zoom calls or really see anyone all day. Good thing I’m keeping up with my vintage/thrift challenge. Sometimes it’s the only thing that gets me dressed.

I’m also going to try to make it to a networking coffee immediately after my 8am Zoom tomorrow to see if I can stir up a little more ideas for my side hustle opportunity. I need to pull out a consulting gig or two or figure something else out. This networking group always seems to give me a couple of leads - and this time I need to follow-up!

Speaking of coffee, TWO new Bumble matches just asked me out to coffee! That’s pretty cool. The dates are not solidified yet, but it looks like I’ll have some plans for the weekend! It’s supposed to be nice out - or at least better than frigid. I’m hoping that one of them might meet me on or after my walk on Saturday. We’ll see! I was going to suggest it, but thought better of it. I am going to let both of them suggest/make the plans (so I can stay in my feminine energy, ha!).

Something else I don’t want to write about right now, but I need to get it down for posterity, is that my dad is scheduled for some surgery tomorrow. It’s fairly minor-ish but any surgery on an 86-year-old is concerning. I know it’s going to be fine, but I’m still in that space where I want to ask for some good vibes, if you can spare. Thank you. I’m sure I’ll write more about this soon.
