I’m Scheduled to be at the hospital for 6:30 am so hopefully by early afternoon I will be in recovery. I’m showered and relaxing in bed. Not nervous about tomorrow but apprehensive about another problem that seems to be coming back.
Mid summer I felt funny like i was going to get a period and seemed to have one for half a day. The dr did a scope that was negative but said he would do it again in dec. well, I have been feeling that same way the last couple of days/weeks but put it down to nerves. Today I felt real crampy. The oncologist said we would go,ahead with surgery but to follow up with the gyno. Have a call in to him, but did not get back. Just what I need, the mastectomy will be all right but who knows what will be with this other problem! I’m trying to comfort myself that the dr was going to retest and so if it is something, it will be caught early. What next?
Again, thank you sooo much for all the good wishes, vibes, thoughts that you all have expressed. You do not know how much they mean to me.

I will be thinking about you. You certainly don't need the added worry but it's good that the surgeon wants to go ahead with surgery tomorrow. And the earlier scope was negative. So if there IS anything, you're catching it in time. Don't worry about that right now -- just get through tomorrow and the next few days. Sending hugs!

I also will be thinking of you tomorrow as you have your surgery. Yes, please do let us know how you are doing as soon as you can. As far as your gyno problem is concerned, I like what Liebe said. Don't worry about that now if you can. Put your focus on your surgery and healing that part of your body. Just for the time being. There's nothing you can do about the other right now. I bet you ten to one you will be okay. You are going to come out of this surgery with flying colors and you will do very well. I just know it.
