How long have you been on PB?
Since 2013, probably right after it was launched.

Were you on OD, TOD, MDD, DE, LJ, or another journaling site before this?
I was on OD and LJ, and Tumblr almost concurrently.

Did you use the same name on those sites?
Nope. I was a different person, in a different phase of my life, on OD, and I chose a new name that reflected that fact when I moved here.

Do you write mostly Public, Friends Only, or Private entries?
For a long time, I was doing mostly public entries. Then there was that issue with Charmingly Neurotic being hacked; after that, I mostly went FO, with a few public entries, and pretty much stayed there.

How many on your friends list?
48, if my way of counting is correct (16 rows x 3 profiles in each row).

How many are you a friend of?
30.

How many are you following?
More than both friend and friend of.

Do you have anyone blocked?
Oh yes. I am disgustingly liberal with the block feature. To be fair, most of the blocked are spam accounts, but I’m also cool with blocking obvious trolls, Trump-humpers, shit stirrers, and people who try to harsh my mellow. (She said, as if she’s anything close to mellow.) Basically, if I don’t want you in my PB life, you won’t be in it.

Do you use the books feature?
I do. I don’t create as many as I once did, but that’s one of those “it is what it is” things.

How many entries have you written?
I mean, I’ve published 1776. I’ve written at least twice that many, and either saved them in my drafts or just never published them at all.

What is the date of your first entry?
Don’t know, and I’m too lazy to check. It’s before June 2013, though; I know that, because I started writing a series on my study abroad in Ireland, which ran three weeks from June to July of that year.

How many comments have you received?
3998.

How many comments have you sent?
96 pages’ worth. Weird how PB automatically counts the comments you receive, but not the ones you send.

Do you send private notes or public ones?
It depends, on both what the writer has their notes set to, and whether it’s something I think should be a public comment.

Are you close with a lot of people on PB?
Emotionally close, yes.

Do you use other social media sites?
Facebook, Instagram, TikTok (once in a blue moon).

Do you add people from PB on other socials?
Not always. It depends on how well I know you here.

Have you gotten to know any PBer outside the site?
A couple. If I follow you here, and then follow you on another social media, I think that counts.

Have you met anyone from PB in real life?
No, but I met my BFF on OD back in the day, then in person in 2011, and now we live one state away from each other (he’s in Massachusetts, I’m in Vermont).

Has PB been good for you?
Definitely. It helps connect me with other people, which is important, since I’m both an introvert and live in a rural area. And also have a limited amount of money, that puts a cramp in having a social life.

Do you think you’ll ever leave PB or stop writing online at all?
No and no.

If you had one thing left to say to everyone on PB, what would it be?
I appreciate how drama-free this place is. I don’t know about anyone else, but I feel like there was just constant drama on OD, and it was always the same few people starting it. (I’m not going to name names, because again, it was a different part of my life, but I think we all knew/were friends with some of them.)
