Sunday cooking in Bittersweet

Today is my hammer it hard baking lmao. 

I made 3 batches of granola. 2 bars, peanut butter and plain. 1 of honey almond granola clusters.

10 cups of brown sugar. I ran myself out!

Gluten free Gingerbread. Its currently in the fridge cooling for a bit. Then ill cook them. I had to change all my cookie sheet liners so it wouldn't be gluteny on them. 

I made the last of my gingerbread from yesterday too. I had left half the dough in the fridge. So those are done. 

Simmering bones for beef bone broth. Takes For EVER. I may txfr them into my instant pot as soon as its clean so that I can ignore them more and NOT boil my house. 

Home made shelf stable pudding mix- Chocolate. I hope its good. I havent tried it yet.... I made a bunch though. 

So not TOO much I guess. Some kind of intensive things lol. But not a huge lot of stuff. It helps I made cookies and banana apple bread yesterday though. So thats one less thing I needed to do today. I do have MORE bananas I need to use up and a BUNCH of apples still. Man im slacking. I put 3 in the bread yesterday lol. I accidentally used my zucchini bread recipe and realized near the end I had the wrong page up... I had to just roll with it. The texture is a bit spongy but it tastes good. 
Im going to make a maple OR a ginger icing for my gingerbread cookies seeing they arent QUITE gingery enough. 

I need to run to the store for critter food. We need chicken food and a rat for the snake. We need an extension cord and a few more Christmas lights. I need molasses and cornstarch. Probably a few other things. 
Then I gotta bring in my crap from the car. I have gingerbread toppers I need to make for the doors at work. Ive been trying for two weeks. Ugh.  And some random shit from cleaning out my office. We caught two mice in there so far. Fingers crossed its not too much worse then that. BUT i feel like its going to be. 
I also got some vanilla beans OTW so I can make some vanilla bean paste and I want to get some vodka to make extract BUT with my stepfather here, Alcohol is not a good choice. Hes mostly clean for years now. And I say mostly because im sure he has had a beer here and there, But I dont want to put any kind of temptation in front of someone... 

Ill do the paste instead. :) 

Well I guess I should hop to it. Im starting to get hungry which means its noon! Two hours of cooking this am!!
