Since my dad died in December 2018 my mother is haunted by her house. After a mental breakdown and an episode of schizophrenia a psychiatrist decided she can’t live alone. She lives with me in the trailer park where I rent the land but own the mobile home. I pay all my mom’s bills using her money, deliver her groceries and run her chores. I even do repairs to her home and to my own. Mom said I can do anything I want to improve her property and due to me doing these repairs alone improvement progresses at a snails pace.
Even though Mom has schizophrenia I still let her make decisions during time where her mental health is doing well. Her mental health has improved significantly during the years so I listen to her feelings and concerns helping her accomplish her goals if I can.
I talked to my mom about growing a orchard on her property,a medical garden, and a regular food garden to help out family produce our own food and medication. I just purchased a medical garden kit online. I also bought “Forgotten Home Apothecary” by Dr Nicole Apelian. I am going to use this book to make my own medical apothecary. I am trying to find a more natural holistic method to health.
Using Audible I have been listening to information on audible about solar panels. I am interested in putting one on moms house but I fear my lack of wiring knowledge might cause I fire. I might collect some money and hire an electrician to wire it up at moms. This will be years into the future.
I am still trying figure out what else to put in my garden. I was thinking of trying to grow saffron. It’s a pretty flow that is the most expensive herb in the world.
My husband and snoozing happily beside me. I need to get his arm from around my waist so I can do roll silverware for Cheddars. I need to go out on my Christmas sweater and put on a smile..God help me.
