Nov. 29: Black Friday in These Foolish Things

I bought exactly THREE Christmas Gifts for others, and then I bought myself three gifts!

Here’s what I gifted myself today:

1. A Med Spa gift certificate so I can Botox my crazy wrinkled forehead before the Christmas parties and my interviews with a new company (manifesting!).

2. Spanx Faux Leather Leggings because they have them in TALL sizes and I am a sucker for both leather-like stuff and 50% off prices.

3. These badass boots because I need some low-heel boots that are so dark brown that they’ll pass for black (or in this case, they are black but have been hand-worn down to dark, dark brown).

GAH, I LOVE Black Friday!

Evening One of The Diary Researchers happened tonight. We met at this El Salvadorian place (my choice because it’s a fairly easy access location as well as super easy in proximity to the place where I bought those badass boots), and it was super fun to meet in person!

Had a nice dinner, good chats, and made plans for tomorrow!

We will be doing one of my favorite walks (and talks!) at the lake and across the river and over to the fun street for coffee - and then interviews after.

So far so good, and I’m looking forward to a wonderful weekend.

Better go now because it’s long past bedtime, and I need to be fresh tomorrow in order to tell my life story, ha!
