Well, I am getting married in a few days (!!) and we also decided to host our first Thanksgiving at the house [last year we didn’t have furniture]. Not sure if we’re over achievers or just plain dumb. haha.

It’s all going alright. Other than the fact that I haven’t had a full nights sleep in I don’t know how long. 3AM is my new favorite hour apparently. shrug I’m sure it’ll get better once we are done with all this.

Honestly, it hasn’t really hit me that I’m getting married. I should probably be working on my vows but hah just like always, I’m procrastinating. We’re terrible at that. I think the majority of our wedding came together in the last month. Too bad I’ve been stressing about it all year.

My current favorite motto is, “it is what it is” because there’s really not much we can do if things go wrong now. As long as EC and I have a great day full of amazing memories, that’s all that matters to us. People are gonna talk no matter what, so we’re just doing our thing. At the end of the day people won’t be able to say that this wedding wasn’t “us” because every thing about it screams EC and I. From the centerpieces to the music. It’s all stuff we haven’t seen done, and I doubt any one would be crazy enough to do. haha. Not that it’s going to be elaborate, just classically us. =)

I have a bunch of chores left to do for tomorrow so I won’t make this too long. I’ve also gotta go finish baking because deciding to make my own cookies for the wedding was on the list of all our “great” ideas. hah. It’ll all get done [with a little help from our friends/family] and I’m not going to add on any more stress.

Taking it one day at a time around here seems to be working. I’m gonna enjoy Thanksgiving first and then do what needs to be done.

But hey! I’M GETTING MARRIED
