Nov. 25: Dress Form Tree in These Foolish Things

Almost forgot to type out an entry. All of a sudden my life feels super busy. Duh. That’s what Holidays do.

My apartment is still a shambles, but I’m getting there step by step.

Tonight, I took the HUGE step of getting the dress form tree completed. I feel like this was all I could do for the evening. She needs a name:

I still have a bunch of other decorations to complete. I can’t stand living like this with a bunch of incomplete projects, but I also suppose that’s life, right? I just don’t like a cluttered apartment. I complain and complain, and I get things done, but then there seems to be a million more things I need to do!

And I feel so scattered. I wonder if I have ADD? Especially with working from home. I hop from one thing to another and have a hard time completing anything.

But I’m glad I got my pretty, sparkly dress form tree done. I hadn’t put her up in what feels like a long time. I think it’s been three years? I’ve missed her. I feel a little bit more like myself now.

Anyway. I gotta roll. I’m tired and I have a lot to do tomorrow from a work and prep perspective.

Soon it will be Thanksgiving, we will celebrate my nieces’s 9th birthday, and then I will come back and the diary researchers will be here to hang with me ALL WEEKEND (I think I’ll have a lot to write about this soon…)!
