Prompt - Who do you admire?

I admire several people, none of whom are public figures. There are four women here on Prosebox, all of them from OD, whom I admire. Each of them has a thirst for knowlege. a good sense of humor, and an ability to write.

In no particular order:

Arbi for her world-wide interests, loyalty, comittment to her causes, orderly life style, and for the wonderful questions she poses.

Mage B because her artists eye sees things I wouldn’t see if she didn’t photograph them: because she keeps going when the going gets tough and because love shines from her sunny pages as it must surely shine from her face.

Sago, Her careful introspection helps me to understand things about myself and because she reminds me of what a southern lady is, in a time when southern ladies are, sadly, disappearing

Last, and far from least, Patricia (Patrisha) who is an introvert and sometimes depressed as I am. Just slightly my senior, she is my example of how to talk myself into things I should do, like walking, making myself go places, eating properly (usually) . I tend get in a rut and to read the same types of books. Patricia’s writing often tells of something she’s reading and leads me to new authors (new to me).

I could add to this list, but these are special to me.

Changing topics – I finished staining a gate today and repaired the ramp to the shed by replacing the non-skid tape across it and by refastening the long metal plate at its bottom. I put away the painting things, returning my sunroom to its original purpose instead of a staging area for painting.

I had intended to do some shrub trimming but it began to spit RAIN. I We’re still in a drought, so I stayed out a little while to encourage more wetness. It’s supposed to rain for the next two days. Everything needs the water. I can trim when that’s over.

I may have to vacuum tomorrow. Worse even than that, I need to straighten paper work and pay a bill or two. I really loathe domestic tasks, but my office is building up for a land/paper slide.

Blessed Be.
