One of my fake phone calls today said it was from Anadarko, OK. I looked up the town. It’s 50 miles from Oklahoma City, has 5000 or so people, and a Native American Museum. The Museum includes a Hall of Fame for Famous Native Americans.

Reading through Letting Go, Philip Roth’s first novel, partly set in Chicago and Iowa City IA, brought back my youth. I know I got the book from the Cedar Rapids Library sometime between 1965 and 1975, maybe in the middle. I found a wrong pore//pour. A character was looking through a newspaper, pouring when he should have been poring. Oh well. It’s a good book anyway and I am happy to own it.

We had our first snow yesterday. Not a lot and it’s gone now, but it generally feels like winter. I need to burn trash but I will wait for a better day.

I was on a 16 hr fast for 12 hours yesterday. Made me feel virtuous for a little while.

I have more to say but it seems like work - - Did I give you a smudgy sunrise the other day? I have one. Let me go look.
Oh and here’s a cat bonus - it’s Katie’s knapsack and Butt and son in the background.

I smiled at #4 thinking of you feeling virtuous doing 12 hours of a 16hour famine.....I doubt I would even last that long! And I am with you over correctly used spelling.

Stripey looks like another kitty cat in the knapsack. Waving to Jim.

I was listening to an audiobook, can't remember the topic, it was non-fiction and it got the president who started the White House Easter Egg Roll. It was Rutherford B Hayes, thank you very much. That kind of mistake bugs me more than the typos.
We've had a few flurries, but that's all. Cleveland and parts east got a bunch more. It can stay there.
