I’ve had some of both today. Which do you ..want first?
Let’s try a win.
Check. Here’s my blue blooming coleus.
Next a loss.
I lost my grocery cart at the store todayl. I was close to being finished when I remembered I wanted a small jar of store brand chunky peanut butter. Rather than shoving the cart all the way back to the first or second aisle where the peanut butter lives, I abandoned my card and went back for the peanut butter. Then I couldn’t find the cart. I made repeated trips back and forth across the store. I asked an employee to help me find it. Yeah, I did that. We did find it. It was a crosswise aisle closer to the checkout than where I had been looking. I don todayubt that’s clear but it makes sense to me right now.
Another win.
I stuck to my four star - more stars the harder it is - Satuday sudoku until I finished it. I hadn’t done that in a long time. I also did crypto quote which I can almost almost always get. ‘The only way to make a man trustworthy is to trust him’ said Henry L. Stimson - 1867-1950 - American statesman, lawyer, and Republican Party politician.
Another loss that turned out not so bad. I went to the craft show that I remembered being on the 16th. It was not at the fairgrounds though. It was at the former Baptist church, in the basement. I spent all my money and I’m not sure what I got except for some fancy rolled up, ends dipped in melted chocolate cookies from a Ukrainian woman whose sign said she did not speak English. They are tasty and I feel like I contributed to international good will as well.
I feel weak and at sea today. I am two days older than President Trump. I don’t feel like I would be up to serving four years in the White House. I feel kind of sad. On one of my other hands, I doubt I was ever up to it. For lots of reasons.
Will’s football team lost their last game by three points. Now he is ready for another stage iojn life. His dad is supposed to be coming down today to help with the harvest. So far the combine is holding up. Jim had a neighbor help him and he’s finishing a different neighbor’s corn today.
He’s here.
