Nov. 10: A Sunday That Feels Like a Saturday. in These Foolish Things

I have tomorrow off for Veteran’s Day, so today has felt a lot like another Saturday, so I treated it like one.

I went downtown with Martini to walk the city trail and made my way down to the touristy shopping street where I was a tourist yet again. I also wanted to peek in to the fancy smoothie shop to see if I could find my friend (the owner) just to have a chat face-to-face since we do a lot of communicating via Instagram DMs.

He wasn’t there, so by the time I’d walked up and back down the street, popped into some stores and broke my challenge rule of not buying any new clothes. I ended up ordering a pair of jeans and then later found a cute top and skirt to wear to the fancy-pants “black and white” Holiday party I’ve been invited to in December.

Yes, I could have waited until after Friday (when my challenge ends), but could I have?? Cute clothes don’t last long!

Anyway, the weather’s been beautiful and I wanted to spend my days outside while it’s gorgeous out, so I haven’t even started decorating, save for the one little tree I just bought for my main bathroom.

Okay. I’m spent and once again left my entry writing to the end of the day. I’m falling asleep.
