Avoid fixing free mobile home in Life of a cat mom

I asked my husband to help me replace the floor over at a mobile home my mom used to rent for over 20 years. The water tank busted rotted out the floors. Instead the renter telling us he moved out instead letting us fix it for him. We gave him his deposit back because we didn’t believe it was his fault. He was scared we wouldn’t give him his money back. We aren’t petty. We know things simply break down. He was a good renter he couldn’t help what happened.

I have been asking my husband for months to help me carry the wood over so I can fix the floors. I have a naval hernia and fibromyalgia. I fear I might hurt myself my husband says I have to schedule with him to the exact minute how long we plan to work on it. He argues how I am supposed to be blaming everything on him. He started an argument to get out of helping me do repairs.

He says we don’t have enough money to do the repairs. I asked him what about the wood in the basement. It is paid for.

He took Alanna to her job interview. He is waiting to pick her up after her interview.

He often complains how he hates how I don’t ask him to help and do things by myself. He avoids helping me. My family when my dad was alive we worked together to get the job done now my husband does everything to avoid work. We were given a mobile home and a house all we have to do is fix it. Why is it so hard?
