What is the story behind the Monday Monday song?
Phillips said that he wrote the song quickly, in about 20 minutes. In the lyrics, the singer dislikes Mondays because the person he loved left him on that day. “Oh Monday mornin’, you gave me no warnin’ of what was to be.” The song includes a pregnant pause before the coda, which modulates up a semitone.
So no wonder people are depressed and not wanting to go anywhere.
I think Mondays should be banned and illeagal.

Mondays are one of my best days. But I also learned a long time ago that your day is pretty much what you want it to be.
