Freshly dyed hair, freshly shaved, showered, and moisturized.
I am ready for the week ahead.
I know Dana doesnt want me to dye my hair anymore, but I cant do it. Im just not ready to go completely gray yet.
Maybe when I hit 50? I mean, I guess Ill be open to a re-assessment of the situation.

SO after my little outing yesterday morning, I havent left the apartment since except to walk River or walk to the laundry room. Now ask me if I feel bad. Go on, ask me?
Nope. I dont feel a sliver of remorse.
I sat in this clean apartment with my babies, watched Netflix and worked on my diamond painting. Just minded my own business.
Besides, everytime I leave the house I seriously spend $50-$100. I can not keep doing that.

I think its time for me to finish up my current diamond painting. I believe I just get tired of looking at the same colors. Im halfway finished. Hopefully my week doesnt go crazy and I can finish it up this week.
I often wonder if I am just wasting my life away doing things like that.I feel that I am supposed to be out there with the general public, doing activities or volunteering or something.
But…Im not too fond of most people. Doing these little crafty things is my happy place.

I couldnt take the apartment being closed up any longer today. I opened the living room and kitchen windows. It was so stuffy. That radon test doesnt need 4 days to work.
I didnt make a big show of opening the windows. I just quietly pulled them up about a quarter of the way.

WHOA!! River has the zoomies! Shes running back and forth, bouncing off the couch.

Oh! Speaking of River; we are moving!! My firned, Mark, had a lot of rentals. Like A LOT. I messaged him a few weeks back to see if he had any open and he said no.
Last night he texted me and said he had one that was coming open, right next door to him.
Its two bedrooms and only $5 more a month than this policed apartment.
He isnt sure when the people are going to be 100% out but he will let me know.

Im super excited!! The house doesnt have a fenced backyard, but he was cool with us putting one up. He even said he thinks they have some fence in his shed. Bonus!!
The guy Dana worked for here does fencing. Im just going to call him and have him put the fence in. Hopefully it wont be too much.
Dana can pay for that, I guess. LOL!!!
Can you imagine River having her own backyard that she can have zoomies in? Oh man!!
Have I looked at it?
Nope.
At this point, I dont even care what it looks like. I can fix pretty much anything.

I was telling Karma about it and she went and looked at the outside.
“Um, it kinda looks like a meth house. In fact, the chick that lives there has gotten busted a few times for meth.”
Of course it does. This is The Burg.
“But does it look like I can de-methafy it,” I asked.
“Oh, for sure,” she answered.

There you go.
I mean, what else do I have to do?
Except get blocked on Facebook by local businesses.

SO the bakery here (very loose term), has changed hands. Now the owners granddaughter is taking over. Cool, keep it in the family, I dig it.
However, she made a post on FB about how the prices are going up and that is just the price of doing business.
The prices havent gone up, they have gone into the next galaxy! I went there a few Saturdays and was lucky enough to get a dozen donuts.
12 donuts, all pretty much the same except for shape, almost $30!
Turns out, she charges by the donut! Like I said on FB, where is the incentive to buy a dozen?!
She replied that donut prices fluctuate depending on the ingredients and how hard they are to make.
THEY ARE ALL THE SAME DONUT! Its not like she has filled ones, or fritters, or kolaches or anything.
Round or Long John.
She brought up the fact that she was raising prices to provide her employees with a living wage.
I get that.
But charging $15 for a bison burger that is the size of a regular McDonalds cheeseburger and is dry as sawdust because they dont know how to cook bison, is not the way.
Well, Niki, there is a learning curve when you get a new business.
Um, nope, not buying that. Her grandmother still runs the business. They havent even purchased it yet. She is just making changes.

Anywho, I just think its funny that she blocked me for disagreeing with her.
Gotta love this town.
I think Im going to find a snack before I hit the hay. I brought some chips in here with me, but its not what im craving.
They are delicious, though.
Wavy Lays Tzatziki.
Yummy!
