My new job in Life of a cat mom

I have worked 2 days at Cheddars. I am a dishwasher. I work for $12 an hour. I was offered free meals my first week there but by the time I am done with my shift I just want to go to bed. I have been skipping the meals and coming home. I get a 40 percent off discount anytime I eat there and a fifty percent off discount anytime I work. I have been avoiding eating there because I gain weight so easily.

I am kept busy nonstop. Thank God for plastic aprons or I would come home soaked. I am still learning where all the dishes go but it’s cool not having to deal with the public. Most of the time people ignore me unless they need something. I wish I had this dishwasher in my house! It does a great job.

Besides taking the trash out one of my jobs is prepping broccoli to cook. I take butter with garlic in it give a scoop of butter in a bag with 4 ounces of broccoli. Apparently if you cook it a minute it’s ready to serve. I normally make 100 or more bags before the end of my shift.

I like getting paid once a week. Knowing I have my pay every Friday is nice I kind of wish I got paid everyday.

I don’t want to be rich but I wish I could stick my bills on autopay without the fear of overdrafting my account. I just wish I could pay my bills and afford my personal hobbies like gardening,remodeling moms house and sewing.
