We are back home - to peace and quiet after looking after grandchildren for a couple of days. It is great to see all the family - and to do things with them - but it is also nice to get back to the routine. The weather was kind - unusually mild and also dry - so we were able to do some walking and there is nothing better than walking along with a ten year old just examining the world around you,

And then two pieces of news this morning - that they are setting up a National Sperm Bank since not enough men are coming forward to provide sperm - and they are importing it from abroad - especially for ethnic minorities - since the bulk of donors are white caucasian men. I cannot find the cartoon which shows the front of a Sperm Bank - and a hole in the wall labelled ‘Deposits’

And the other is related in a way - a survey has found that men who have sex with 21 women are less likely to contract prostate cancer. So the more you shag the better it is for you ( well fancy that!) - of course you may get something else if you are too promiscuous.
Some questions - why 21?Are celibate priests more prone to prostate cancer?
And I would presume that frequent wankers come into the same category - the more you move your sperm along the better it is for you. So much for the old tales of masturbation being bad for you and weakening the life force.
