I saw a woman online criticize her date she met online because he brought his toddler on the date with them. This triggers me. This man is raising his child being a good father and you are dissing him for bringing his child? He is trying to help you realize this child is a part of him if you can love him you better love his kid too. This man is bringing dedication and a family unit. He isn’t looking for a one night thing he is looking for a lifetime of love and dedication. If I was single I would ask him to bring his daughter we will get ice cream and play at the park. I always wanted a child now I have my chance. Let’s be a family and create a positive childhood for now our kid. He isn’t a single dad now cause she is mine too!
I have been with my husband since 2013. I hope someday we will be lucky enough to have a family. I am grateful for my hubby and our family of kitties.

He was looking for a free meal for his kid. It's dangerous and stupid to bring your children to a first date of a stranger you hardly know. If he couldn't get a babysitter, he should have rescheduled. I'm a single mother myself. He's an idiot.

Just curious was it a first date, and did she know he was bringing his child along? If she wasn’t aware, that could be a problem; he should have mentioned it beforehand so she could decide if she’s comfortable with that situation. Also, are you and your husband looking into foster care or adoption? Considering your health and age, and while many people do have babies later in life, fostering or adopting might be a great alternative to explore.

If it's a first date, this would be super inappropriate imo. As someone who was a single mom for a long time, I would have never introduced my child to someone I didn't know well. I dated a few men who never even got to meet my kid. There are weirdos out there. Also, you don't want your child to get attached to someone if it doesn't work out between the two of you.

It sounds like you’ve got a thoughtful perspective on family dynamics, especially when it comes to online dating.
