I am working Food Bank. Now someone says “You use this? If not I’m tossing em! Pattie my partner in crime we do Meat, Prepared (Prep), and Dairy. We also help or organize out of our boundaries. She gives me that “Look”.. The containers in question, are on the chopping block. “Grab ‘em”. Well we did. And I hid them.
Now onto the tale.
Ratón,NM York Canyon Coal Power:
It is in the mid to late ‘90’s. The 600-800 and 900 series of C-44’s are on the roster. I gathered 5 of these C-44’s for York Canyon loading. We also are in the measurement and proformance phase. No Coal Symbol to predict these on. Call the coal group. Duh, blah. Blah.. make a symbol grrrr. Now these are being used. And RTNRTN (Ratón Turn) to help get tonnage over the pass both directions. Predicting on an RTNRTN Symbol was not making it. Bitching, complaining, ad nausea. I was told, we are going to take this power. No you are not! There is a York Canyon coal train. Coal group needs to authorize. This is making me crazy and plasma physics.
So I did what I needed to do. I made them disappear. I took them and placed them in an outlaying station. Jansen, Colorado. Were they physically there, No! They are still at Ratón, doing helper work etc. A manager, who I worked with said, I found those 5 units at Jansen,CO. yeah you did. We got a symbol place em on it. I did. I was told not to hide power, yeah, I still hid power..LOL. The York Canyon got loaded out. It was headed to Demming,NM, To interchange with the SP there.
