2024 Champion in Match Point

SABALENKA WON THE US OPEN! I’m so fucking happy! I absolutely can’t believe it! She absolutely deserves it. She worked so hard and it was a wonderful game and she just crushed it. At one point it seemed like she was down and might not make it so I made a promise to universe that if she won the US Open… I’d get a tiger tattoo. She’s known as Aryna “The Tiger” Sabalenka so it seemed… appropriate. And very fair at the time. And since she won I have to start saving for a tattoo now! I’m SO happy she won!

I also got a regulation height net and a rebounder net so I can set it up in the backyard and do tennis drills at home whenever I want. The only problem is our backyard was supposed to be leveled out a month or two ago but the contractor hasn’t been back to do so yet and our backyard is at an incline right now. Guess I’ll just have to make due. After all we can’t just wait around for everyone else to make things work out for us. Sometimes we just have to make due. Hopefully it’ll get evened out eventually but until then. Bring it on!
