I am fucking furious!!! Because international acts don’t come to Iowa, in order to see them- people from this state have to travel out of State. This is logical and unfortunate as fuck. But for the right act, worthwhile. Because remember- this isn’t “long car ride” when you are 40. This is book a hotel, literally rearrange your entire schedule, plus long car ride.

I had to move EIGHT TRIALS so I could attend this expensive event with a hotel booking! When, upon waking up this morning, the Venue says “due to unforseen circumstances, the shows will be rescheduled to October 21st”. This was a SOLD OUT SHOW that you’re just “postponing” for a month like it is just “sorry, swing back around in a few weeks, yeah?” I LITERALLY CAN’T FUCKING DO THAT!!! Did you hear the part about me moving EIGHT FUCKING TRIALS?! DO YOU CONTEMPLATE WHAT HAS TO HAPPEN FOR ME TO ATTEND AN EVENT THAT REQUIRES A 6 HOUR ROADTRIP?!?! I mean… this is enraging!! My conspiratorial mind is flying. This is the first part of his North American Tour- maybe travel got fucked. He is a traveling comedian- maybe he got COVID. This is a sold out show, maybe they overbooked the venue and were not prepared to honor all of the tickets, so something like this helps alleviate that pressure. Who knows?! All I know is- this is fucking terrible!!! Massively fucking terrible.
