all in in Second 1st

It’s the end of August. We are securely in the house in Otisville. I no longer have to deal with the loan officer. Jake has gotten to spend a few nights here and is currently taking a nap.

His mother’s car, which he’s been using, decided to overheat on him on his way back from Cians yesterday. I took him to give plasma this morning and he’s going with me to karaoke this evening.

Personally, I’m about to take a nap. It’s been a roller coaster. Nothing is getting done at home unless I do it but I can’t take days off to do it so it’s just a few hours in the afternoon. I also need to maintain the mess we create.... dishes, laundry, general pick up and looking for things.

I think we are pretty well set up.... some boxes that need to go out to the 2 car garage.... a couple that will eventually go from there to the she shed. Unfortunately, after 3 months at Destiny’s .... eating out too much.... treating friends… buying things we didn’t need (ex. whatever system Rocky had gotten and the whole Glass Animals concert). Add $3,000 bed frame and mattress.... it’s honestly not worth it being as we are both side sleepers.

We are okay.... financially we did not get as much done as I would have liked but even though we bought the house at 180k we only owe 141k on it .... our payments are 1162.... but I plan on throwing in an extra 150 a month as that is the payment that gets put on the principal ..... also after about 6 months of payments we will look into refinancing… our rate is an unfair bit higher than it was in TN....

I did get pulled over for my license plate.... 3 months out of date .... and it took me 4 trys to get all that fixed.... we will do Rocky’s later. He needs to get a copy of his birth cert.

I’m planning a house warming party for the 14th.... We are trying to figure out how to get the mower fixed and delivered (it’s in storage and is the only thing left). Our first payment is October 1st.

Apparently, yesterday I was supposed to go to Destiny’s to hang out but forgot..... today we are meeting up at JW’S (a bar) for karaoke.... Then, tomorrow Fred is having a cookout for the holiday weekend....

Jake is going to karaoke with me and Rocky to the cookout..... but it’s going to take a week to recover and I’m not at all ready to schedule more things lol

I only have 14 days..... got to figure out the lawn mower situation.... unpack everything and make my home presentable..... still need a couch.... so far things get put in the general area of where they will go but they aren’t in order.... and the kitchen table.... is a mess as is all surfaces… but for now

I have to nap.... no way I’ll me good passed 9 if I don’t get a nap.

One more thing I wanted to say.... well just a note.... Jake considers that we have fought it.... but in his 43 years of life he has not had a bedside stand (or table). That will be fixed because he kicked his CPAP machine the other night when he woke to use the restroom. In my head.... in my world, that means he’s equivocated his stuff to dirty clothes and trash (things on the floor) and that’s not kosher yo.

Through this little disagreement .... There was a bedframe that was broken.... had I known it was broken it would not have come all this was.... we bought another one for Jakes bed but the broken one was leaned up in the corner. I asked Rocky to take it to the garage..... and told Jake why it needed to be removed.... The other night he said “If you asked me, I would do it.” .... didn’t say anything till the next day about it but that’s really high on my WtF list. If you know it needs to be done why wait till I ask? ....
