Moving anniversary,stroke anniversary,new job soon in Life of a cat mom

7 years ago today I moved into my current home. I was living in a house the landlord lied to me about. She was charging both me and Talan $475 a piece since we weren’t married. I got sick I lost weight my hair fell out and I got bad sick. During the blood test they found meth in my system. I was confused I don’t do drugs. I went back to Mary my landlord and I told her the Dr said meth can get in my blood stream by walking barefoot. The house was once burned,there was holes in the floor and ceiling it was beyond repair. I asked for details. Mary said it used to be a meth house but they cleaned it with mean green.. wtf Mary! I told my mom what happened. We quickly found a home and moved out. Mary wasn’t happy but we lived without a tub for months. She refused to get us a washer or dryer. We got tired of her crap,she refused to do repairs and we moved into a 2 bedroom 2 bath home and rent was still cheaper than we paid Mary. Honestly 7 years later we still pay less now.. happy moving anniversary.

In 2021 on this day I had a stroke. I was at work. I made it through my first job but by the time I got to my second job I was slurring,half my body was numb I was choking on my tongue. I looked at Felicia told her my brain is broke and I drove myself to the hospital. When the hospital confirmed the stroke I asked Alanna to drive Talan to the hospital but she informed me their Dungeons and Dragons campaign was more important. I begged her to put my husband on the phone she refused. Alanna said I was just being dramatic. She hung up on me. The nurse called back informed Alanna I am going to Carilion Hospital to see how badly my brain got damaged. After Alanna cussing the nurse and arguing with my husband Talan she realized she fucked up and after I told her when I get better I plan to beat her ass she decided to drop Talan off at the hospital. I was in the hospital 2 or 3 days freezing and nude under a sheet while they studied my brain.

After I got out of the hospital the Dr told Talan I have problems walking and talking and it will take months for me to recover. They wasn’t playing it was true. I quit the gas station because of my stroke. I continue to work at Joann Crafts but a lot of people couldn’t understand why I was working with a limp and slurring words. I used the cart to.hold me up when I walked.. I asked them who will pay my bills if I don’t? Here it is 3 years later. I am forgetful,I can’t remember words,short term memory loss and I can’t control my blood pressure. Drs study me a lot confused why I keep migraines.

I am supposed to be getting dental work done but the Dr fears if he deep scales my teeth the plack from my teeth might get in my blood stream and cause me to have another stroke. I have had a total of 3 stroke so far. My last one was in April. I got to wait 6 months stroke free before I can get dental work done. Did a forget to mention I am currently 37?

I have 2 more days working at the hotel after that I will start my job at the daycare. I really hope I like this job. The hotel expected me to run the entire breakfast by myself with no help and complain when I had difficulty keeping up. I got tired of their attitude so I put out applications. I deserve better. I hope I get it.
