In the Life Log - Day 154 in My Musings

Today was a good day. I slept a little over 7 hours, and had no weird dreams (or at least to the extent I remember). There were no waves of sadness or panic attacks as well so all is good.

I was out for most of the day; after having my breakfast at home, I decided to go to mass first before meeting up with friends. I didn’t anticipate the mass to be held in my mother tongue, however, so that made comprehension a bit more difficult. Just like the past few weeks, the Gospel was still on the topic of Jesus being the bread of life, and the priest emphasized a number of points for us, which made me reflect once more:

1. It is possible for God to become bread and wine for he is God;
2. Prioritizing sustenance over flavor;
3. Sharing meals with family and community over being on one’s own; and
4. Health over fullness

The catch-up with friends was really good too; I shared a good lunch and dinner with them and had plenty of fun just sharing stories - mostly revolving about work and travel in general. I have no complaints about today and my heart is full. As the new work week starts, I look ahead with optimism.
