This year has been lost. in The Awesome Chronicles of me.

But I figured i’d say hello anyway. Nothing has happened in my life. I got some cool gatcha stuff happening in Honkai star rail and Zenless zone zero (More on those in a bit)

But nothing has happened. I can’t go out, I just walk to walmart and get food on occasion, I play Final Fantasy XIV, HSR and ZZZ a lot. I dabble in the occasional solo board game, I am very thankful for tuesday nights.

As for other things, there are a couple board games I wouldn’t mind getting. (Outside ME: Priority Hagalaz) One is called Arcs, which is a neat space combat game which i’m not a big fan of usually, but I like the card system, and I kind of want to get it for the convention I’m going to in september. Another one is called Undaunted Callisto, card driven war game on Jupiter uses an engine that is in a very popular WWII set of games. (I have normandy and its cool, but I want to get it for solo) and I wouldn’t mind a nice heavy economic game or another civilization game, but nothing has sprouted at me.

I do have a couple Kickstarter things coming to me, Bullet paw and pallet which is just more bullet stuff (love bullet) and Freedom Five, which is a super hero type game. (That one has been in production hell but it’ll be here, the company has always kept updates and such so i’m fine with it)

Football is coming back soon, I’m excited, I think the packers can do a lot of good stuff, and ill be ready on the iPad be streaming red zone and a game on tv. Go Pack go.

I also enjoyed the olympics, Gold zone on peacock was the only way to go, I loved the whip around coverage, and Scott Hanson (Of said red zone) is a treasure. I ahem didnt mind the break dancing.

In Political news. TBH I thought Biden dropping out was a mistake, and would be really bad.. but whoo boy was I wrong, and especially now that dumb baby Trump is melting down even further. (That and I like her VP candidate, Walz)

Finally in video game news, FFXIV Dawntrail came out, and it has been fun. I didnt care for the first half of the story but the second half when it gets weird I enjoyed, and there were parts where I was weepy. New jobs range from going into the rotation (pictomancer) to........ I honestly do not know. (Viper) I like some of the new job abilities on the existing stuff (Scholar got a great healing skill, albeit you look like a stupid angel for 30 seconds)

In Gatcha games, Honkai star rail released what is probably my 2nd favorite character game play wise, who’s name is Jade. She has these “Dommy mommy with a whip and stompy on you kind of thing” Thats not why I like her. She’s part of a faction (probably the more morally grey faction, the IPC, basically the galaxies biggest corporation, they have everything from banking services, to food service, to well.. massive weapons of mass destruction) (I’ve always liked space corporations) but one of the things she does is she’s a pawnbroker but.. she pawns dreams.. she leans on the more evil side, but I still like her.. BUT i like her play style a lot. She gives out a status to others, and everytime that person or her attacks, she gets marks, and when she hits 7 she whips everyone. I love whats called “Follow up attacks” and hers is a lot of fun. And ill post some great luck I had for here in the picture dump.

Second is Zenless zone zero. This one is an action RPG which there is one giant city and the rest of the world has been destroyed and even in the city these things called “Hollows” can pop up, so imagine eating dinner and boom fall into a hollow. But the game has the best vibes, and some great characters (like Anby who loves movies and hamburgers, or Billy who’s a cyborg who cosplays as a starlight knight, and Zhu Yuan who’s a a really cool cop who I want to see hang out with Garrus from Mass effect, but all the characters are cool and then there are Bangboos, they are just cute, little robot helpers) but its basically hack and slash RPG, with a bit of a break mechanic like FF16 and a cool exploration system when you explore the hollows. I am really glad I got into it. It is a lot of fun. Frustrating at some points (Stupid ballerinas and Dullhans) and fights can be physically draining like FF16, but overall its great

ahem. Now that this dope is done talking about stuff time for a carp ton of Game and kitty pictures.

So, in Gatcha games, well like HSR anyway (and zzz) you buy Wishes, or tickets or pulls or whatever. and if you do 10 you are guaranteed a little bit better, and after so many times you may get the feature character or not, but after a few more pulls (usually 40-70) you are then guaranteed to get the featured pull, yes i know its gambling but I dont pay much outside a battle pass and a daily currency drop every once in a while) but I got Jade really early into my savings for her.. so a few days after I decided oh ill try to pull for her again (because they get better as you get more copies) and this happened. I seen pictures of it happened, but it never happened to me until now. I was laughing for like 10 minutes. I got a few lotto tickets but my trip to the Bonajade exchange was already used up. So she’s one of my best characters now. Ahem. Back to pictures, now of HSR/ZZZ

HSRs mascot type character is a girl named March 7th and she just oozes Dorky Kid sister vibes.

In ZZZ your main hub area (Sixth street) has a lot of kitties and you can pet a lot of them

Holy Forking carp I’ve talked too long about basically nothing. I just wanted everyone to know I am still here, even if I am kind of just going through the motions.
