Vacation in A Day in the Life of Me

Was not a vacation.. lol went home for a week in the 29th, got back to the city on Monday.
The first thing that happened was on the 28th, on my way to a night out, I found out my original drive was to sick to go....I was thinking that was that.. not trip down now… Then while out, I found out a friend’s husband (they were both at the same night out LOL) had to go to work the next afternoon in a small village about 45 minutes from my home town. Asked him if he had any room in the vehicle he said he did and we made plans to be on the road 2:00 the next afternoon! Text Mom in the morning ask her what she was doing when she said nothing I asked her she really going for a drive when she asked why I said because I may or may not be in said village. So she picked me up, and we got back to the house turned around went back to town for supper LOL ran into dad’s granddaughter as soon as he walked in the door the restaurant.
Chilled for rest that evening, my mama had to go to bed because she had to be up for work the next morning. I didn’t get up until shortly after she left so I stayed home obviously and did a bit of housework for her some tidying and that sort of thing.
Tuesday I got up early and went into work with her spent half the day at her job following her around and after lunch took a walk up to the local mall and other various stores to pick up some stuff like I do room for her cuz hers was crap, back up with her at work just as she was getting off we went home and chilled rest of that night.
Wednesday I got up and the night before she had pointed out to the dishware that needed to come out and be clean for the yard sale that we were hoping to have on Saturday. I spent all morning from about 8am on washing scrubbing and trying to find somewhere to put drying dishes I ended up having to put mostly back in the cupboard to make room for the rest of them that I had to take out of other cupboards. About noon my best friend down there message me to ask me what I was doing I sent her pictures laughing and saying send smoke booze and help cuz I was up to my elbows and dishes, she came back with a ” how would you like to go for a ride to town while I get my groceries! ” I said give me 10 minutes and I’ll be ready LOL. She was in the driveway in five and I was ready hahaha. She bought me lunch while I was out with her we spent a couple hours together which was nice she wasn’t feeling well before I got down so I didn’t really get to spend much time with her cuz she’s still unwell but it was nice for a quick to catch up. Came home, finished up more dishwares waited for Mom to get home and then we had some leftover supper from the night before the rest of that night.
Thursday mom had the day off( and the next) for supervisor was being a bitch about it but she got it we spent the next two days either running the roads doing errands or tidying up around the house and pulling things out for the possible yard sale. We did set up Friday night, got about a quarter of everything out pulled out tons of tokens and ruined boxes from her little shed outside put all the glassware and stuff out debating the entire time cuz we heard bad weather was coming but we also heard it wasn’t coming until later in the morning or closer to the afternoon so we were hoping we would be okay. And on our way back home put up signs. Go back to the house started working on putting more stuff out they could handle being it overnight in the fog and then crash early because we were both exhausted. Got up Saturday morning to heavy fog unpack boxes of stuff put it out on the tables. Quarter to 9:00 or first buyer arrived saying we should have a sign at the end of the driveway he followed the signs all the way from town I did point out that it was quarter to and we actually ready yet but he was more than welcome to look around. While he was there I ran out and put the sign out this is another car was showing up and from that point on for the next almost 2 hours we were steady with cars in the drive. We let stuff go super cheap, but Mom was looking to just get rid of stuff and get it out of the house and the shed and the shop. Like for example she had a son tires for her old car she like over 40 bucks. Stuff like that. 2 hours in thunder rumbled rain started we ran like the devil to get everything that couldn’t handle being open rain undercover and called it quits. Maybe it was because my period had started on the Thursday, or maybe it was just exhaustion but I was so emotionally upset that I was actually crying that we had to close down early. We debated on trying to get on Sunday but when we get up in the morning it was pretty much the same so we waited until the weather cleared early afternoon and we went out and started packing down. I supper time that night we had everything in I was working on drying dishes and getting them stored at another cupboard shows her way and she was hollering at me to take a break cuz I’ve been working like a dog all weekend I did up for her actual dishes and got them put away and then sat down for the night. I think that was around 9:00 LOL. A little while later went upstairs to go to bed when she did get my suitcase packed and get everything I had up there organized. Earlier in the day I had packed my tote box that we had gone to town to buy full of the Little treasures that I had claimed well cleaning up the cupboards. Got some old Tupperware and some of the glassware that I’ve had my eye on there’s still some up in the cupboard that I’m debating I need to decide on by the time I go home for Christmas otherwise it goes into the yard sale stuff. And we’ll try again for that next year. Monday morning roll around I was up early with Mom car packed and then to work with her, took her laptop in did updates and downloaded more games for her because she had already blowing through all the ones we had put on there for her at Christmas when we bought it for and she doesn’t have internet at home so I can’t do that stuff there. Got it all done get it to you run for her was on the way back to the hotel hubby was texting saying that they were in town and she was texting saying that one of her old bosses from before my time was at the hotel excited to meet me. By the time a little meeting group was done with her hubby and original driver we’re in the back parking lot waiting for me. We got the car packed up we turned around we walked back down to Tim’s which has a combined Wendy’s and got lunch walk back up to the hotel so to find all the way to Mom and hit the road we’re home by supper time.
Kittens were both happy and mad to see me got everything in started unpacking stuff just kind of threw stuff everywhere cut laundry on had to shower and then chilled for the night until bedtime to get ready for work the next day. Man that’s been my week ever since. Today I spent the entire morning doing housework late in the afternoon had a soak, I’m waiting for D to get home and have supper that I haven’t slow cooker. Mondays are anniversary but I’m working because I didn’t want to book the day off after just coming back from week off, so we’re going out for supper tomorrow to celebrate, and Monday we’ll just be a regular day LOL, with you know maybe a few gushy facebook/instagram posts lol.
