I have Juthith Rossner’s novel August on one of my groaning book shelves - just went to look and make sure. It’s an account of a young woman and her relationship with her therapist - not that kind of relationship, I don’t think - it’s been a long time since I read it. Rossner is also known for writing Looking for Mr. Goodbar, which became the movie with Diane Keaton/Richard Gere when both were very young.

Ah, life is a gift in many ways.
