Rest in peace, my love

My head is spinning
You were my better half
You showed me
The meaning of love
You were my everything
And my heart has been stripped
Of all its parts
And all I have
Are tears and memories
To remember what we had

Why did everything
Have to end this way
I question it every day
What could I have done
I’m hollow and paralyzed
Frozen
And I shattered like glass
And all this pain
Surfaces again

I cannot believe
Our fate led this way
I just don’t know
If I can put
Myself together again
I put lilies on the water
And said goodbye as
The flowers float and fade away
I cry every day
You were a part of my soul
WE WERE ONE
And it feels like you were ripped away
I shed a tear on your grave
Just know
Someday, I reach the Moon
I’ll kiss it
And say your name
Until we meet again
Rest in peace, my love 💓
