Repairs to old car in Life of a cat mom

I bought a 1994 Dodge Spirit it will cost $2,000 to $2,300 to fix the transmission. Still have to fix it to pass it for an inspection sticker. This car will cost more repairs than it will ever be worth. Guess I will have to keep it forever.. if I am lucky I might have a vehicle this week. God help me..
