What a stupid week in Bittersweet

Oh its been stupid already.
Yesterday M was out, she planned a trip and put in for PTO but we didnt recognize it. Whatever its fine!! Thats fine.
But then H was puking and I made her go home.
A texted me at 5 that her kid had been up all night in extreme pain from his teeth. They had to wait for 8 am for the dentist to open. Poor freaking kid. He has wisdom teeth trying to erupt and pushing on a nasty cavity. Poor kiddo.
Thankfully I made a huge mistake on the new EHR ( right? Mistake?) So N was pissed that I messed up her workflow ( rightly so) And she was raging at billing so she took over the emails. And I put the phones on VM out of office mode saying we had no reception team, leave a VM and we would return your call.
Yall those fuckers called 5-6 times in a row. Like WTF. Do you not LISTEN to the message.
Anyway that was a shit show.
So my mistake. We have to “record” appointments for billing. To do so you need the note done. N dosent record till she finishes copays. But I need the appts recorded to count clients per week to determine productivity. I didnt realize she was using it to do copays. So I recorded the weekend appts which meant she didnt know who had been billed or not. So she was mad.
I did my counting during and in between a meeting lol.
Payroll was a breeze. We paid out the ass for this new system that imports into payroll automatically. I didnt have to manually do it! Then had to meet with the lady who set it up to be sure i did it right. She was impressed. I didnt even ask for help from her. I had it ready when she got on the team meets.
Then back to covering the front end. Normally A does the CPW while I do payroll. I did both.
I answered emails and whatnot and took care of a pile of stuff. A made it in at 12 and worked 3 hours and answered 25 voicemails ( 120calls and only 25 vms)
Today was weird. M is still out. H was feeling better, N was back in billing. things were flowing smoothly. H is feeling better. Some are better then others lol.
Tomorrow is our summer BBQ potlock. I ran to le walmart and dollar dollar general to get whatever extra we needed. I got 7 5 gallon jugs of water. CEO told me to find a water delivery place because I hate getting water every few weeks. I found one for 7.70 a jug. Its now 7.50 at walmart so heck yeah deliver me water! lmao!

I picked about 4 lbs of cherries from my bosses cherry tree out front of our building last night. I spent several hours pitting them! They are sour cherries. VERY sour cherries. I casually mentioned did you know it only takes about 10 cherry pits to get cyanide poisoning. T said he wasnt eating my dessert. I laughed.
I made sour cherry, rhubarb, strawberry cobbler and then for the BBQ I made the same sour fruit mix with cake on top. I also have whipped cream ill top it with. The cake helps with the sour.
T DID eat the cobbler. Chase said that it was SO good and had cobbler AND cake. I made two cakes and one is going to work. No reason to bring more, we have 8 people signed up for dessert. 6 for sides, 2 for randoms ( drinks and chips) So hopefully it goes good.
Last year we had Luau themed and we got REAMED on facebook that its cultural appropriation. OMG. So this year seeing its on the third. We did 4th of july themed. I got some cool straws that are fun, red and blue tablecloths, some garland and necklaces. Last year we all had flower leis so this year we got bead necklaces. It was so funny because I handed out the flowers to everyone as they walked in. So this year oll hand out bead necklaces lol. It will be cute. I found straws with patriotic stars on them. CEO LOVES fun straws for her coffee haha.

Anyway. Its been a whole week. Tomorrow is wed. Thurs is the holiday and im taking Friday off for a long weekend.

OH I told CEO i think admin need a bonus of some kind for learning their job, all the import shit and learning the clinical side to help teach therapists too lazy to learn from the videos and training. So She had me order $20 gift cards for everyone. Its not much but its something. At least its cash. I cant do anything else. But at least its something. Its 160 bucks for the team. I brought them donuts last week. I wish i could convince her of more. But these are disposable positions you know.

Yall i did my KPIs for the front end. My team is answering 30% of incoming calls with 2 people there on average. We have some days where we have 3. But with M’s friend was murdered shes been out a lot. So 30% of incoming calls.
So tomorrow at the staff meeting im going to tell them its at 30 and we want it at 90. We get it to 90 incoming and we will do celebrations or something. But next week is the first week we can start counting it.
And its shit to say 30% because for weeks it was starting the new EHR. Last week the therapists started using it and needed to be trained because they didnt bother to learn it to start when they HAD the time. So now that we are all on the EHR, NEXT WEEK should be it!
I hope so. I REALLY hope so.
