I’ve knocked out two of the graphic novels from the library

Last Gang In Town by Simon Oliver is about a group of London punk rockers in ‘77 who attempt to steal the crown jewels. Loved it!

DC Vs. Vampires
I was enjoying it till I realized that this is book one and there is another book of which I don’t have. 🤬
The artwork was pretty cool and I was digging the storyline. Go figure Batman and the Bat Fam would be the ones fighting the plague of undead.

Still have three more to go then I have the book Swan Song A let me borrow. Looking forward to that even if it’s a long read. Lots of tobacco smoke will be exhaled when reading that.

Mom took over cooking duties tonight. Sketti with angel hair pasta. She said she felt bad about cooking it since I said I didn’t want anymore food with noodles or tomato sauce. I reassured her that it was good and that there is a huge difference between spiral noodles with a Chef Boyardee knockoff quality to it versus the jar of Bertolli Five Cheese she used. It was filling and I have some for tomorrow.

I’ve been craving peanut butter bread. The breakfast dessert they’d give us on Sat and Sun. It’s peanut butter mixed with some syrup (gives it a more liquid consistency) and you toss a hunk of bread in it and mix it together in one big mush. I’d eat that and my oatmeal when served. Now I want more.
