I am looking for a hormonal birth control that takes away a period.
I don’t care if it’s healthy or not to chemically stop a period. I want it gone.
I was on the shot 25 years ago and it took away my period for years.
I got off it after 10 years.
Then went back on it a few years later and while it took my period away I was forever spotting so I got off it.
I have been on no birth control for 10 years.
I am now in my 40s and my period symptoms and length have increased and I am looking for something to take my period away.
I was suggested (by friends) to get an IUD. 2 friends say it works great. 2 friends say it got lost in them/grew into them and messed with their emotions - so I’m looking for a tie breaker.
How many of you out there love your IUD and how many of you have had problems with it?
I have no children and am never looking to have children.
