We finally got an offer on Jessica’s old car. They’re gonna give us $8300 which is barely below market which we’ll happily take since the car wasn’t in perfect shape before the accident. It ran perfectly, but missing paint, dents, and interior damage would have probably netted us like $5500 at best if we ever sold it, so technically we’ve come out on top by a lot.

Another good thing is that my brother is very interested in buying the car from us instead of just giving the title to the insurance company. We’d get a lower offer for keeping it, but he wants to pay the difference and drive it himself. His only vehicle is a large truck that gets like 12 mpg so he’s excited about the idea of a higher mpg car that he can get for cheap. It also makes us feel better because besides the wrecked rear end the car runs perfectly. So it’ll be nice to see it not just rot away in a junk yard, being parted out slowly. It’ll stay on the road and get some more use!!

Surgery Recovery

Doing okay. Still have a lot of pain while breathing deeply but supposedly that’s just the extra gas from the surgery. Trying to walk around a bit each day but it hurts pretty badly. I also did lower my pain meds to half of what they were. I’m trying to make them last because my full does would have netted me only one more day of meds and I’m scared of just only going to Tylenol for now. Plus it makes me crazy sleepy all day and I’m getting sick of just laying in bed napping lol. Really hoping this pain starts to get better, but the bad part of having my surgery so late in the week is I’ll have to wait until Monday to reach out with concerns.

I haven’t pooped in 3 days and my pee is very cloudy still so those are some things I’m also a little worried about. I do still have an appetite and I’ve been eating okay, so thats good news.

Anyway I’ve been using this down time to get caught up posting on social media more often. I’m still so surprised how many people still care about me and are truly interested in what’s gong on. I guess I assumed everyone forgot about me but I’ve been getting a ton of positive comments and stuff and it’s really encouraging me to get back to work. So I’m looking forward to getting this baby here, and getting this move back to Texas done, so I can start posting more fun content again!
