In the Life Log - Day 89 in My Musings

Today was an ok day. I did lack some sleep, however, as I had to wake up early to take care of some filial obligations, and today served as my first test run for the succeeding days. I think I clocked in about 6 hours.

After taking care of said filial obligations, I proceeded to workout before my shift since I had the time to spare. Today’s recipe was legs and as always, it kicked my butt despite only relying on bands and bodyweight. My clothes were drenched in a ridiculous amount of sweat, as well.

Work was a lot more manageable earlier. I had only 2 meetings, which is a welcome change from the past few days. In my downtime, I decided to read “For One More Day” by Mitch Albom. As expected, it did not disappoint; certainly a lot of lessons learnt, especially on matters of regrets and life overall. It also served as a good reminder of a mother’s conditional love.

I’m glad that the week’s finally over; will certainly spend the weekend to recharge in preparation for next week’s series of meetings (one of which is expected to run from 9 pm to 10 pm).

Overall rating for the day: 8/10
