Exhaustion settles in a pleasant way after a productive day. Today was about conquering the blank canvas of my flat – Operation Spruce Up (I’ve dubbed it in my own head).
My first stop was Clarendon Fine Art and it lived up to the hype. Contemporary pieces from emerging and established artists lined the walls, each one a conversation starter. I spent a good hour lost in the vibrant colours and thought-provoking sculptures. Let’s just say a new addition might be gracing my living room soon.
Lunch was a solo affair; fueled by a hefty avocado toast I quickly scanned the news. The PM is being vilified in the press for dipping out of D Day commemorations. Despicable behaviour.
Back at the flat, I channeled my inner decorator. I want sleek lighting and strategically placed shelves to showcase my artistic finds. This place is about to get a well overdue style upgrade.
Dinner was a quick veggie stir-fry before I met Sarah at the cinema. Two tickets for “The Fall Guy”. It didn’t disappoint! Ryan Gosling is 10/10.
