Ravanspoint Road, Trearddur Bay, Anglesey.
We were in the same house as we stayed in last year, but this years we didn’t have last years prolonged rain, wind and snow. This year we enjoyed an Indian Summer, and enjoyed the same glorious views from the panoramic window.
September 21st to 27 th 2014.

Our first sunset.

Aberffraw, the beach is a good ten minute walk from the road, due to the extensive sand dunes between the road and beach.

Newborough Forest.
The weather at Newborough depended which way we looked, looking south west to Snowden and the Lleyn Peninsula there was the worst of the weather, looking north up the Island is where the Indian Summer was, when we were on the beach at Trearddur Bay we often have the better weather, looking down towards Snowden we mostly saw a curtain a grey clouds.

Lligwy Beach on Anglesey’s east coast.
This is a nice beach on the east side of Anglesey, there is a shallow line of dunes, behind the dunes is the roughest car parks in Wales; no need of ‘Sleeping Policemen’ there!

Penrhos Park, or in Welsh ‘Park Glannau Penrhos’
Taking the A5 crossing from Anglesey to Holyhead Island this Park in the first place you come to on Holyhead Island. The footpaths are flat and easy walking, we keep our dogs going past the Pets Graveyard.

Queenswood Country Park, Herefordshire.
This woodland park is about half way between Cornwall and Anglesey, and our dogs are very happy to get there, it’s the only stop on our rout where they can have a walk away from the road and the sound of traffic.
