Used car,new repairs,stray cats,living at hotel in Life of a cat mom

I bought a 1994 Dodge Spirit. When I first bought it was fine. Next thing I knew it was spitting shutting off and having problems shifting gears. I only paid $1,200 for it because I can’t afford nice things. It kept getting stuck between gears.

My husband Talan, brother Tom and I tried to run it on the code machine at Advance Auto to discover it is to old have it’s codes read by their machine My brother and I took it to our garage we have an older code machine. My brother Tom and Talan my husband took it while I was at work cleaned the transmission fluid and replaced the transmission filter. It seems to be running better now. I still need to do more repairs.i got to get it ready for a sticker.

I ended up with my Dodge Spirit because the transmission went out of my retired police car. I had a 2008 Impala but due to transmission going out for the 2nd time I decided I was done. I didn’t have much money so I decided find cheap car.

I have been living for the past month at the hotel because lack of transportation. I serve breakfast professionally. I went as far as buying my brother tires because his tires blew on 3 different occasions in the same week! I bought him new tires because I told him there is no point putting rotten tires on his rims. I bought him a jack to because his jack was to short to jack up his truck.

I am seriously thinking of buying an electric scooter and placing it in my trunk in case I need emergency transportation. Walking in high heat when my blood pressure medication increases my chance of having heat stroke scares me. My brother Tom we were walking to Lowe’s he was teasing me about getting lightheaded and struggling he had no idea I was about to pass out from the heat. He pointed out he is healthier than me..yeah he didn’t survive 2 different strokes by the time I was 36.

Since Talan and Tom fixed the dodge Spirit it runs great. I got to drive it to work tomorrow. I hope it doesn’t give me any problems.

It feels so nice to bed in my own bed tonight. I am cuddled up to my cat Ziggy my other 5 cats are in the living room.

Over at my mom’s house I discovered a striped tortoise cat I have been calling her Mama. She has 4 kittens. 3 orange and one stripe kitten. I am thinking getting Mama fixed and just release her. I hope to tame her feral babies. They are welcome to live in the property. Mama is a great mouser. I have no idea where they came from but I have no problems feeding and caring for them.

I need to get up and toss my uniform in the dryer. 4 am comes early. I got to serve breakfast at the hotel tomorrow.
