Stomach Pain in Life in General

I’m losing a lot of weight right now because I’m terrified to eat. I’ve had a few extremely painful attacks recently after eating. I’ve been very careful to eat as little fat as possible, but my tolerance seems to be getting lower and lower. My last attack happened after eating a couple of tortillas. Yeah they have some fat but it was like a total of 8 grams but that’s all it took, I ended up dry heaving all night from pain.
I used to eat that all of the time recently with no issue. Also it typically takes about 2-3 hours after eating before the attacks begin, something my mom says indicates it’s getting worse. She said it should be happening sooner.
I refuse to go back to the hospital right now because I’ve been twice and both times they just immediately send me home with a $1K bill. They swear my labs are all normal and my scans don’t show infection but that doesn’t explain why I’m in extreme pain.
After waiting for 7 weeks, my GI appointment finally came up and he mostly was just writing all of my symptoms. He then said that my liver labs are a little off but otherwise everything looks fine. They are going to rule out liver problems (like hep c and whatnot) before just ruling it as a fatty liver that can be resolved with weight loss. He did say that I have potential gall bladder problems but I’m going to need a HIDA scan to confirm.
Which is fine, but the insurance is being a total turd about it. My last ultrasound was just over 2 months ago, but I also have a recent CT scan and both show sludge in my gallbladder. They’re saying I need another ultrasound before they will pay for a HIDA which is totally stupid. There is no way they think an ultrasound is going to tell them something the CT doesn’t. I think it’s just a stall tactic, which is great because I’m feeling wonderful.
It’s just so frustrating because there is like a 99% chance they’re just gonna yank my gallbladder out. I’m fine with it, but dealing with all this scheduling and waiting is soooo frustrating. I’m like so close to just scheduling with general surgery and taking it out voluntarily.
It also sucks because my PCP is interested in getting me on weight loss medication but he wants to wait until this is resolved first. Which is understandable but that’s just one more thing I gotta wait on while the healthcare system just drags it’s fkin feet.
I swear, the next time I lose weight I’m going to do everything in my power to keep it off. I’m so done being fat and feeling like sht.
