Lazy Days in Hello.

I love the weekend. The girls are good at getting themselves breakfast, so I usually stay in bed as long as possible listening to the radio. This morning I only got up to make us a cup of tea, then got back in again.
I’ve applied for a job in a shop in town. The charity shop job still isn’t being advertised and 9-5 jobs in this town come up very rarely as there are a lot of cafes/pubs/restaurants/supermarkets, but not a lot of regular shops. My mam had seen the sign in the window and told me about it on Tuesday. I popped in on Wednesday and spoke to the manager, but she said she hadn’t really drafted up a job description and asked me to pop back on Friday, stressing that it wasn’t going to be a job interview. So yesterday I popped in at about 4pm, just wearing my jeans and a jumper, my hair scraped back into a messy ponytail. She was busy with a rep, so I had a chance to look around the shop. They have a kitchen department, a gift section and they also sell Pandora. I slathered myself in their testers of hand cream and moisturiser, so I must have smelt really sickly! When she had finished with the rep, she asked me into the office....where she interviewed me! Her dad was also there, but they were both really lovely and she explained that she prefers to get to know people this way rather than interviewing them, as their true personality shines through rather than reciting a list of rehearsed answers. I got the impression that I was being put on the ‘maybe’ list, but I hope I do get it, it would be so handy as it’s literally 2 minutes from my house.
So today I only really had to get dressed to pop over there and hand in my application form! Rob and John are both at work, and the girls want easy teas, Bel wanted cold samosas, (which were on offer in Sainsbury`s!) and Eleanor wanted a cheese toastie. Easy! :)
