Gig tonight in In the Kingdom of Suzu

Jeff’s band plays tonight. The lead guitar player moved back and he will be playing as well as his son who had filled in for him so it should be a really good night.

Monday I meet with the oncologist/ surgeon to finalize everything. Had a breast MRI the other day which showed something in the left breast that the dr wanted an ultrasound on since I now have a history. When I told the nurse I had decided on a double, the dr said I did not have to have the ultrasound. I am glad I have decided on the double because if I had had any second thoughts, this took care of it. The blood test came back negative for anything in the lymph nodes so that is ok.

Have also been having trouble with my right knee
As I cannot go up steps normally so was finally able to get an appointment with an orthopedic dr for oct 31 at 8 am. Hopefully shots will help. X-rays from urgent care just showed arthritis and the knee is not swollen or red just hurts—probably old age!

October 31 is also the day my ss gets married. It is a very low key affair, think only about 20 people are coming. It is from noon to two. My daughter is taking the pictures and then watching their baby overnight while they go away. I think they are going to,Baltimore, probably to see Edgar Allen Poe house as they are big fans of him.

It looks like fall outside but the temps do not feel it—way too warm and I am ready for some sweater weather but it is just too hot!
