In the Life Log - Day 45 in My Musings

Today was a bit more lively (for lack of a better term). I was able to sleep about 7.5 hours in total, and had a dreamless slumber (yay!).

I endeavored to do a number of things earlier and those are: 1. have my shoes cleaned; 2. buy “The Five People You Meet in Heaven”; 3. get a haircut; and 4. meet up with an acquaintance from the group chat I’ve been part of for a month now. Amongst all those, I was only able to do #1; not because I was lazy, but because the circumstances didn’t work in my favor. For example, I’ve been to 4 bookstores to buy a physical copy of the book, but all of them had none in stock.

Today was a low-carb day so I only did cardio; used the treadmill today for a change since my usual go-to machine was already being used by someone else. Never a fan of walking, but today didn’t feel very tedious so still not bad overall.

In celebration of May 1, here’s to a Happy Labor Day to all of us.
