A new pee bottle. in A small but passable life.

I finished reading “The White Plague” by Frank Herbert Tuesday morning. I packed up and spent the rest of the day over at the student union.

Yesterday Jassy, Liam and I went for a nice long walk. The weather was beautiful.

Today I had to walk by myself. It was even warmer than it was yesterday. Just beautiful. I found two books I’d ordered waiting for me at the library. I also checked out seven CD’s. When I got back Jassy and I went grocery shopping. The price of gasoline had went from $2.70 in the morning to $2.64 by the afternoon. Jassy has enough fuel points after our shopping trip to get thirty cents a gallon off. Unreal. She’s down to half a tank in the Volvo so she’s looking forward to filling up in the next couple of days.

We’re not buying any more ground beef. The cheapest at the store was $3.99 a pound with 27% fat. It’s just not worth it anymore. We’re going to be buying ground buffalo meat, no matter what the price. The boneless, skinless chicken breasts are still $2.99 a pound. We bought about ten pounds. That and about ten pounds of buffalo will be our meat allotment for the coming month. We’ve got odds and ends- sausage and hot dogs in the freezer, and tuna also.

I’ve got sharp cheddar cheese, summer sausage, and elderberry and Oregon Marion blackberry jelly for a treat.

I did buy a Powerade this morning. I needed a new pee bottle.

It sure is nice to come into Hardee’s and see Sarah here working. When she left a year and half ago I thought that would be the end of those awesome hugs. It makes my day.

The internet is crap tonight so I’m listening to Dolly Parton. I also found two Johnny Cash CD’s today. And I got Miley Cyrus’s Bangerz just to irritate my daughter. Jassy really gets upset when I call Miley her doppelganger.
