My Brain Has Drained! in BAH HUMBUG!

It’s 2:18pm here at work on Saturday 20th April. On Monday we made £10.50 and Tuesday £2.00 and no sales for the rest of the week! It’s so dead quiet out there again with barely anyone around! The Saturday outdoor market is there again and I think they make more money on a Saturday than most of the small independent shops around here, including ours!

Spar and Co-Op are open as normal and all the shops are but after doing the accounts/book-keeping yesterday I realized we’ve actually made more money this month than we have for several, even though it doesn’t seem like it! We’ve actually made about £300.00 more than normal!

I’m guzzling a can of Pepsi Max and looking forward to closing up at 4 then going home for a mug of PG Tips, some rum and raison ice cream and snuggled in bed with hubby, our cat and hot water bottles!

I had another rough night last night because of menopause, arthritis and painful back/hips so am really tired and knackered again, am counting the hours to bed time and Deep Freeze!
