10/16 in --

It’s so sweet how much my kids love each other. I went to the kitchen for a minute and when I got back, Cannon was holding Lorelei’s hand and she was smiling at him. Oh my goodness, meeelllllllt.

Cannon’s been doing really well with eating. He’s been trying new things! Even if it’s only just one bite of veggies sometimes!

He’s been saying a ton of new words and phrases at daycare that he won’t say at home. ;( One of the women there gets him to say a bunch of things. He won’t do it for me! She works with him one-on-one a lot. I REALLY like that he is going there. He’s doing so well, and the director and workers are really nice. The teacher in his classroom isn’t there anymore, but the new lady, who happens to be the director’s mom, is super nice and Cannon just loves her.

Lorelei can sit up on her own for short periods of time. o.o
She hasn’t rolled yet, but she will very soon! She’s almost there.

I have actually lost five pounds instead of two. I was just bloated or something. I do get phantom periods when I’m breastfeeding, so that explains it. I was having some cramping and such too.

Aaaand I got my new skirt today. Ohygosh it’s GORGEOUS. I wasn’t wearing shapewear when I tried it on, and it almost zipped up… I MIGHT be able to get it on with shapewear, or I can lose five more pounds. :P

Some of my skirts are actually fitting me again. I tried on a couple today. I was shocked. I’m nowhere near my pre-pregnancy weight. I’m about 15 to 18 pounds above my pre-pregnancy weight with Lorelei. And I’m about 25 above it from when I got pregnant with Cannon… but I don’t really care about being that thin again. Actually, I am pretty sure my boobs account for at least five pounds of my weight right now. They’ll shrink a bit when Lor nurses less.

Just gotta keep on truckin’. It’s not even been three months since she was born. I have already lost 30 of the 50 pounds I gained with her, so I’m actually doing quite well.

Yesterday the Royals won and are GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES.

We were listening to it on the radio, and I tried REALLY hard not to talk a lot during it… but later when we were in bed, Jacob was laughing because I was talking through most of it. GAH. I tried SO HARD not to talk. lol. I’m a talker, guys. Be lucky you aren’t the ones marrying me! xD

It’s weird, I’m very quiet unless I’m around Jacob. Then I don’t shut up. I’ve always been that way.
