Our daughter and son-in-law are coming from Montana Saturday for a few days’ visit. I can hardly wait! When we moved to Colorado we promised each other we’d get back up north at least twice a year. But we didn’t understand just how 14 years older would affect 12-hour road trips. They’re just going to have to come down here. All their brothers and sister live in Colorado. Which means we have to share them when they do come, but, hey, it’s better than nothing.
They haven’t stayed with us since we moved into the apartment but now we can put them up, since it’s just the two of them this time…and, yeah, the two little dogs. Dogs are allowed here. Guess I should check with the office and find out the rules about guest dogs....
I got the trundle bed made up yesterday after the housekeeper got done. Just have to stock up on groceries and shine up the bathroom just before they arrive.
I don’t know what their schedule is going to be, since they will want to see his sister in Fort Collins and brother out on the Kansas border. I think Mike plans to have us all over for dinner Sat. night, if they are here by then. The Montanans have tickets to a hockey game one night. We’re adaptable.
The weather is supposed to be warm and nice, with possible showers on Sunday.
Bridge today and then I’m off the map until next week.
