That's it, keep screwing yourselves over in 2020-2024

As I totally knew would be the case, abortion is about to become illegal here but do I feel bad for people this time? Nope. They got exactly what they voted for and exactly what they wanted. They wanted Ron Desantis. They knew he was a Republican and therefore anti-women. People really do reap what they sow at times. The people could vote against the ban in November but so what if they do? I’ve lived long enough to see that people’s rights are only gonna bounce back and forth like a yoyo throughout the decades as long as people exist. The only question is how long they spend on each side. Enjoy your rights while you have them, and fight for them when you don’t. At least try to anyway.
I take back how I said no doctor has ever helped me. Amy, the dermatologist back in Folsom helped me. Right now I’m still suspecting that the issue is not being able to get enough of the Replens up there since I can’t use applicators, or I need a different treatment, or something else is wrong that hasn’t been diagnosed yet. Really hope we can finally narrow it down once and for all! I’ll call the GYN’s office later.
Yesterday I decided to make one last-ditch effort to solve the burning and the fatigue issues I’ve been having. The burning by making a GYN appointment and the fatigue by waiting to see what came back in my bloodwork in June and then hitting Rhonda up for a referral to an orthodontist for a sleep apnea mouthguard.
But then we found I could get a mouthguard for sleep apnea for a hundred bucks or less and carry on with the process of elimination quicker! I’m actually excited and more hopeful than ever that it is sleep apnea as opposed to chronic fatigue which can never be treated much less cured due to a couple of events happening that I actually remember. First, I woke with a stuffy nose and found I couldn’t breathe through my mouth instead as easily so I threw in a nasal dilator and eventually fell back asleep.
The biggest thing was when I was slowly waking up and was still in between the stages of sleep and wakefulness. I was still sleepy but aware. I was on my back and breathing through my mouth when the back of my tongue suddenly hit the roof of my mouth and my steady rhythm of breathing was interrupted by me having to open my mouth and suck in a breath of air. This makes me more hopeful that it’s sleep apnea and can be dealt with. I hope this mouthguard will help! If I can go from being tired most of the time to some of the time, I’ll take it! I would still be tired if I was up for a long time, thunder woke me up or I had a nightmare, of course, but this way I hope to have more energy overall.
I’m also excited because after Tom did some research, he found we can get a waterbed for closer to a grand rather than $1,200 or more. Most of the expense comes from the foundation but he found that you don’t have to get the expensive kind. We can get each part separately and build a full-size waterbed with free-flow tubes for around a grand.
I was a little worried when Tom told me that although he thinks it was a false reading, he got an A-fib warning when taking his blood pressure the other day. He’s also had an elevated HR at times but feels pretty sure it’s just that he isn’t giving himself enough days after giving plasma for his body to replenish itself so he’s going to make a point of waiting 4 days in between donations. As I said, this is a little worrisome but not too much unless it happens again. Hopefully, he’s right and it was just a false reading.
