Thanksgiving in My this and that

Thanksgiving weekend was very great. Two big thanksgiving meals. More food than I could handle, I loved it. Plus time with family, which I always thoroughly enjoy.

Ben and I had Monday to just relax at home by ourselves, which I always enjoy. Did a bit of cleaning, but mostly worked on my Christmas dress which I am sewing. It’s quite a different pattern, and I keep sewing a part, then holding up to see how it looks… but it just doesn’t look like a dress at all. I should probably just wait until it’s done.

I’m really hoping it turns out as good as the picture… a little concerned I’ve made it too small… but hard to tell. I’ll just have to wait I guess.

Our Small Group starts tonight, and I’m so excited! I have lots of cleaning to do at home before people enter my house, but I’m confident I can get it all done. We are doing a study called “The Jesus Lifestyle” and it is a bunch of sessions based on different topics that Jesus preached in the Sermon on the Mount. SO EXCITED!

I feel like I’ve been having a tough time focusing lately. I find it hard to keep my mind from wandering during church, or while I read my Bible, even during prayer. Also, I find it hard to concentrate at work. I’m trying really hard, especially at work… but I’m not too sure what my problem is.
