Oh my, oh my. What a day it’s been already.

It started off all right, I actually got to drink a full cup of coffee before the baby and I left to go get Cannon from daycare.
However, when I got home, I had found that I locked myself out. I tried the credit card trick, and I tried to get ahold of Jacob. No luck. Lorelei was getting fussy and Cannon woke up from his nap, so I drove to McDonalds to get him something to eat, and then I called a locksmith. I had to call three different one before I finally got someone who would come to my house.

So we waited 20 minutes, and Cannon played in the yard while I nursed Lorelei. He really enjoys picking up rocks and throwing them, and he loves sticks.

Fortunately I had gone to Starbuck’s before his happened, so I had a nice decaf vanilla lette to sip on while I waited. It’s not a bad day out, just windy.

Anyway.

While I was driving, I was thinking about how I’ve tragically become a Johnson County housewife. ;P I have two North Face jackets (and a hoodie!), I get Starbuck’s two to three times a week, I have a mom cut, and I wear workout clothes almost everyday.

What happened to my life. xD

That is so not me. If I wasn’t working out everyday, I would be dressing much differently.

So I may or may not have bought this skirt on Friday, with a coupon (yay):

It’s supposed to arrive on Thursday. <3 However, I cannot wear it until I lose like 10 pounds, since they only had smalls left. Ah, well. New goal.

I have looked a few jobs, but none of them work with my schedule. I also can’t get something during the day, since we can’t afford daycare for both kids, and I don’t know what I’d do about feeding Lorelei. She’s a breastmilk kid. And I would like it to stay that way. I don’t think formula is a bad thing at all, she’s just a large baby as it is (75 to 90th percentile for weight), so I’d like to stick with breastmilk for now. Plus pumping sucks. It really does. And my supply hasn’t been the greatest lately, so extra milk to pump really ain’t happening.

Yesterday was Columbus Day… because it’s great to celebrate exploiting, pillaging, and raping a whole continent, right? x____x
